Single jersey and interlock are distinct knit constructions. A buyer should name the construction when it is already fixed, or provide a garment reference and evaluation criteria when the construction still needs to be reviewed.

Questions to settle before sampling
State the garment use and fit, composition target, finished GSM and tolerance, usable width and tolerance, color standard, finish, and the test method and acceptance limit for each critical requirement. If the brief calls for matching trim, send the main-fabric cutting and specify how the trim will be judged alongside it.
Use published product families as references
Published single jersey families are reviewed reference records. They help identify documented constructions and values, but they do not set a factory-wide range or confirm the final route for another project.
