Start by separating fixed requirements, acceptable ranges, and points where the mill may recommend an option. That makes a sample or quotation easier to compare against the same buyer brief.

- Finished GSM and usable width: state the target, tolerance, and whether the width is open or tubular.
- Appearance and finish: color direction, hand feel, surface, and any non-standard finishing requirement.
